The Internet loves April Fools jokes (don’t we all?) and the big day has officially begun. One eager blogger took the “It’s April 1 somewhere” approach and tossed his prank into the ring yesterday. YouTube’s Never Gonna Give You Up
A click on any of the featured videos on the video sharing site’s homepage takes you to Rick Astely’s memorable video for the hit (?) “Never Gonna Give You Up”. Watch it once, if only for the outfits. The entire world’s gonna have this song stuck in their heads today.
TechCrunch Sues Facebook for $25 Million in Statutory Damages
Michael Arrington explains why Facebook’s abuse of his likeness as one of the 25 most influential people on the web is bringing him to sue Facebook (for using his likeness on his profile). Think he’s got a case?
Lifehack Helps us Commit Relationship Suicide
Life Improvement site Lifehack give us a handy guide to a guaranteed slow, painful, awkward breakup. The goal: “Induce the other person into a psychotic episode, so that you don’t have to be the one to pull the (metaphorical) trigger.”
Revision3 Flips over April Fool’s
Video site Revision3 has made a subtle update to their video playback - videos are now featured in mirror image of their original! I wonder how the sponsors feel about having their logos and ads turned around, but I guess if it brings eyeballs, they’ll be happy.
Upgrade to a New Obsolescence with ThinkGeek’s Betamax to HD-DVD Converter
Have a stack of old, outdated betamax tapes that you want to modernize to the newly outdated HD-DVD? ThinkGeek has just the device for you!
Google Puts Airplanes in the ‘Cloud’
